Wentbridge

The Wentbridge Autism Service is a low secure ward for men with a diagnosis of Autism (ASD) who are detained under the Mental Health Act. The Wentbrige service resides in a new purpose-built building with 7 large en suite rooms which have interchangeable lighting that suits you. We also have a separate self-contained rehabilitation flat which can be used as you work towards living in the community. The Wentbridge Autism Service ward has a lot of space which can be used and adapted to your needs, there is a communal dining and living space as well as activity rooms, sensory room, outside space and a sensory bathroom.

Our Aim

The Wentbridge service aims to provides a safe and therapeutic environment to aid your treatment. 

Our goal is to provide you with a gateway to safe community living which is tailored to suit you. Discharge planning will commence on your admission and will be the main focus throughout your stay.

Ward Staff

Staff working on the Wentbridge Autism Service have received a tailor-made induction and training required to support you. The staff are excited to meet you and are committed to working with you to help in any way that they can.

We also have a dedicated MDT made up of a Psychiatrist, speciality Doctor, Psychologist, Social Worker and input from an Autism Specialist and occupational therapist.
